"My interests in helping others grow professional and personally developed from running an international management firm that dealt with many different types of organizational structures, purposes, cultural differences, and goals. All of these organizations interacted with a wide range of businesses presenting different challenges to our own organization. Often I saw businesses and individuals fail because they did not grasp the essentials that were required for them to be successful. Frustrated employees, lack of motivation, failure to develop key people, failure to eliminate waste, constant feuding between labor and management played a significant role in their lack of achievement and sustainability in their market place.

There had to be a better way! And there is! Over the years I have developed the unique ability to translate the theories of good management and business practices plus the new research on human dynamics to help organizations and individuals apply them directly to their current needs…immediately experiencing different outcomes that moved the organization to achieve sustainable results.

Early in my career, I was appointed Executive Director of a facility that the state had intended to close due to poor care and lack of proper management. This facility dealt with a unique children's population requiring specialized care, support, and training. I was given less than six months to turn the level of care around and 18 months to bring the facility into financial compliance and profitability.

Working with the staff and involving them using cutting edge management practices (not taught to me in business school) we were able to achieve both targets ahead of time. We went from a totally dysfunctional organization to a highly functional organization in three months…reaching our financial objectives in 12 months.

Team building, effective and open communication, creating the environment for personal commitment from the professional staff, and giving leaders an opportunity to lead enabled me to guide this organization to obtain these results in such a short period of time.

Since that time I have help many business and organizations achieve results that they thought were unachievable. For example; one organization stopping a 9 million dollar hemorrhage in less than 9 months…this included a total financial swing in excess of 12 million dollars. Or where we were able to help an older light manufacturing facility turn their operation around to remove a 15 million dollar a year wasteful procedure from their operation.

All of these successes happened because I was able to get people involved…move them to a new level of performance, and helped them incorporate into their behavior, actions and activities that were supportive of the outcomes they wanted to achieve."
